Fight for NO.1
Right, this can get confusing so pay attention....
If Australia lose against England tomorrow, they drop back down to No. 2 in the ODI ranking and India become No. 1 again.
But if India lose to New Zealand on Saturday, they will drop back to 2nd, and Australia will be No. 1 again.
However, if Australia lose the 5th ODI against England on January 26 (coincidentally Australia Day, as well as India's Republic Day), India will move back to No. 1 in the ICC rankings.
Might be more fitting if teams get to No. 1 by winning. And less confusing.
