India back to No.1 position in ODIs

Team India regained their No. 1 rank in the ODIs, after Australia lost their 4th ODI against England by 57 runs. As a result, Aussies dropped to the second place. As per the latest ICC rankings table, India is with 117 points while Australia has 116 points.

Initially, India lost their No.1 position in the ODIs on Wednesday when they lost to New Zealand in the 2nd ODI at Hamilton by 15 runs.

India were with 119 points before the match against New Zealand while Australia were with 118 points. The loss against New Zealand made India lose a couple of points and placed it behind Australia at 117 points.

Now, the Aussies were defeated by England who won their first game of the three-month long tour due to which Australia lost two points and came down to 116.

But in order to maintain their top rank, India must win tomorrow's third ODI against the Black Caps at Auckland.
