MSD becomes First Indian keeper to effect more than 300 dismissals







Indian skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni has now become the first Indian wicketkeeper and the fourth overall to effect 300 dismissals in ODIs when he caught  Ross Taylor behind the stumps in the first  ODI against New Zealand at Napier today.

Before this match, Dhoni had 299 dismissals (220 catches and 79 stumpings).

He now joins the legendary club which features the celebrated trio of
Australia`s  Adam Gilchrist (472),
Sri Lanka's  Kumar Sangakkara (443) and
South Africa`s Mark Boucher (425).


Among  these three,only Sangakkara is an active player.
