Nokia Normandy running on Android 4.4 KitKat becomes hot topic again

Today some fresh news has emerged and again @evleaks has provided us with some rendered images of the device which give an idea about how the lockscreen would look and also apps like Viber and Skype. Not just that, the device has been put through Antutu’s benchmark test which shows that the smartphone has a 4-inch FWVGA display (480x854 pixels), a 5MP rear camera, runs on Android 4.4.1 KitKat and is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon processor. Earlier reports also said that Nokia might just kill the Asha platform and switch to Android for its low-end ranged devices.

Though the rumours sound exciting, they seem too good to be true. Microsoft has already
taken over Nokia and the OEM venturing into the Android bandwagon seems quite unlikely. Also, making fake screenshots is not a difficult task today. All in all, we can only hope that Nokia would take such a drastic decision, till then we shall wait for more news to pop in.
