Sania Mirza into mixed doubles Final @ Australian Open

Sixth seeded Sania Mirza and Horia Tecau(Romania) have shocked the defending champions Matthew Ebden and Jarmila Gajdosova 2-6,6-3,10-2 to reach the mixed doubles finals of the Australian Open.

The victorious Indo-Romanian pair lost the first set 2-6 in just 29 minutes after losing their serve twice but they bounced back quickly in the second set to win 6-3 to take it into a match tiebreak.

This made the opponent pair lose their way into the match and after breaking them four times in the deciding tiebreak, Sania-Tecau won 10-2 to wrap up the match after an hour and 15 minutes.

"I should not jinx it but I want to win the mixed doubles title this time at the Australian Open," Sania said after the match.
